Susan MeldrumDivisional Manager

As Operations Manager, Susan’s focus is on ensuring that NovaMarine’s stations are technically in line with all IMO and ISO regulations and that yearly audits are conducted by the classification societies to ensure compliance with all regulations.

With a strong belief in effective leadership at all levels as well as teamwork, Susan’s customer-centric focus has been gained from over 20 years in the service industry across a number of portfolios.

Barbra PietersOperations Service Manager

Barbra worked in the hydraulic industry before joining NovaMarine in 2015.

Starting as a Client Service Agent, she steadily progressed through various roles. Her ascent from a Service Agent to a Service Manager and finally to the Operations Service Manager position. Additionally, her completion of MBA Essentials and Operations Management studies further solidifies her qualifications.

Barbra is responsible for the sales, service and operations teams, dealing with local and offshore clients.

Louis CoetzeeCountry Manager – Namibia

Before Louis joined the NovaMarine team he worked for 15 years in the shipping industry in various operational roles where he worked his way up to become a liner port captain who was responsible for both Angola and Namibia, tasked to improve productivity and efficiency in all operational aspects of the company.

With strong leadership skills and the ability to build long term relationships with all stakeholders his main focus remains around customer centricity, ensuring the company understands the needs of all their customers and provide a product over and above expectations.

Geraad KillianBranch Manager - Durban

Geraad joined the NovaMarine team in Durban in June 2021 as the Operations Team Leader. Included in his portfolio was the overseeing of the fire equipment and life raft servicing station and team. His strong and positive work ethic make him a welcome addition to this already vibrant and dynamic team.

After a successful 2021 it was decided to move Geraad into the Branch Manager position.

Geraad has a strong technical background in the engineering field along with more than 10 years work experience in Managerial positions. His experience in the engineering field means that the NovaMarine Technologies division is in good hands and this will be a great advantage to increasing our service offering in Durban and surrounding areas.

Geraad is a welcome addition to the team and we look forward to the seeing the marine division in Durban boom.

Achmad HendricksSupply Chain Manager

Achmad joined NovaMarine in 1996 as a buyer dealing mainly with foreign suppliers. Since then he has gained significant experience through exposure to the various departments within NovaMarine was appointed to his current position as Supply Chain Manager in 2014.

Achmad is also involved in maintaining the ISO9001:2015 and SANAS ISO 17020:2012 quality management systems for the company.
